OVERVIEW OF HCMC HOSPITAL OF DERMATO-VENEREOLOGY
HCMC Hospital of Dermato-Venereology is a Grade I specialized hospital under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, with a history dating back to 1975. The Hospital serves as the highest-level specialist referral center in dermatology and venereology for Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces, and has been assigned by the Ministry of Health to provide technical guidance to lower-level facilities and to support the development of the dermatology specialist network across the southern provinces and cities.
Clinical Expertise and Areas of Treatment
The Hospital provides specialist consultation, diagnosis and treatment in the following areas: skin diseases in adults and children; sexually transmitted infections; non-surgical (medical) aesthetics; dermatologic surgery; aesthetic plastic surgery and the management of complications from cosmetic procedures. The Hospital also carries out professional duties related to leprosy in accordance with its assigned functions.
